A storm front of snow billowing,
balanced on the escarpment of ice geology,
A wall of wind, curfew the land,
trapped by gravity, the lowlands wait their turn.

Taken across the Vale of York towards the North York Moors between Ganton and Sherburn in North Yorkshire.
A reminder of the recent winter that embraced the UK earlier this year.

    A remarkable shot..chills me to the very bone… oh, no, that’s the current temperature here. Anyway, this is excellent, even if it leads to chilblains & pneumonia.
