Cold stone upon this roof rests,
pillars of artisan’s craft,
light shadows of flicking movement,
a silence upon reflection.

A view along York Minster’s nave. A wonderful Gothic creation built from 1291 to 1350, yes the builders tea break and just off to fetch a tool excuses worked then too. The main stained glass window, is the Great West Window and dates from around 1338
Taken during the famous pork pie massacre meet of fellow RB’ers Steve and Lesley and Donna and Jason.

Converted into black and white and best viewed large.

great exposure – and a hint of blue.

  • Thanks Jon, playing with some of the old paper and developing methods, either that or they have found £90 million is not enough to get the next few jobs done :)
