Skirted by green and resting earth,
tossing clouds back into the sky,
back breaking winds,
dusted by winter’s sugar icing.
Taken on the outskirts of the North Yorkshire village of Wensley, from which Wensleydale draws it’s name. The view is across the flood plain of the River Ure and looking to the rising peaks beyond.
Converted into black and white and best viewed large.
