Artist's Description

While chants of fear fill the stones,
huddled masses driven by desire and political correctness,
Silent now the statues broken by air and water,
only the tree grows now with hope for the future.

This is the view of the front of York Minster during a light snowfall, with workers rushing through the snow to get to the warmth of their place of work. taken on High Petergate, York, North Yorkshire.

Converted into black and white and best viewed large.
