Thanks Lois, it was a great 15 minute break in the day to get these shots, if only all tea breaks were so great lol
if i took photos on my tea break all you would see are small planes flying overhead and lots of factories.
that sounds like a lot of scope for some interesting industrial b/w shots ;) This was on a 12 hour day of delivering, so I make this my number one spot to have a break
there is a large chimp in this image on the right, was it him or you who was in the huff? lol I can almost hear the engine from here :))
lol now you mention it, yes there is lol and probably both of us lol
ahhh! finally found your cloud making machine…
They had trouble retro fitting it to the engine as it was in metric and those things run in imperial :)
oh… i am telling all the time the same comments… but, u know i love your work so very much!!!!
blushing now lol thank you so much for that
while studing photography i wondered at some artists who took so many photos of society and the world they lived in or could travel to, I wondered at their mindset and wondered if they ever knew how important their images would be in the future. I guess now with digital cameras any man and his dog can do it, but your work surpasses ‘any man and his dog’, and i would love to be alive in 100 years and see what the future holds for your art, your view, your perspectives. wow.
Thank you for such a beautiful comment Tempe
Thank you JacquiK
Wonderful shot, love the mood, it work amazingly well in b&w!!
Thanks Shaun, this place is a b/w photographers dream
This series are so beautiful, timeless, lovely atmosphere, well done again ! anna
Thank you Anna, been fun working on these shots
Another glorious train shot… as for the chimp, well, yes. As for the huff, it puts me in mind of a great quote I heard once, & it could apply to this… ‘…that morning a huff came along & he went off in it….’
lol wonderful words
