Gateshead, United Kingdom

Artist's Description

Taken on the Glaisdale to Egton road in North Yorkshire in the North York Moors National Park, looking back towards the Moors above Goathland and the valley of the River Esk.
A land settled by each passing generation of immigrant nations, the names and history of the land is now a reflection of the Norse people who settled the land with their place names.
Converted into pinhole black and white and best viewed large
