Of commerce, transportation and pleasure #2by clickinhistory
This picture was taken a few minutes later to Of commerce, transportation and pleasure , following the rower has he half drifted closer to the bank on this side.
This is the River Ouse as it flows through the heart of york in North Yorkshire
Love the still water and off-center rower. Great composition as b/w. Haven’t heard of the Holga/film effect, but I like this shot very much!
Thank you Jan. As for the effect, it is a combination of various software that mimics the effect of the Holga toy camera and film looks as well as black white conversion.

Excellent work, an image that I would be so proud to have captured myself.
oh wow what a capture, this is a great piece of work, the clarity is awesome, the composition is right up there, early a.m. I guess
thanks for that great comment imageworld, about 9.10am according to the clock on the tower lol which is a good job as I had not altered the clock on the camera. Taken in late March

Fantastic moody shot! I like the contrast between the clarity of the rower and water and the mistiness of the background. A stand out!
