This is the foot of the wonderful Hardraw Scar waterfall in Hawes, North Yorkshire.
It was wet and raining, so wanted to bring the contrasts of light and shadow and the atmosphere of the place out, so used a Holga style to bring it out.

where’s Kevin Costner? excellent treatment richard
Thanks Steve, was thinking of you while stood in the water while the rain fell lol
I have no idea what a Holga style is… But you did a GREAT job. Beautiful image. I wish there was sound added to it! :-)“The book of Eve” by Marianne Fredriksson keeps popping up in my mind these days… Somewhere in the book Eve took a shower under a waterfall and when I read the scene I envisioned it very much like this one!
Thank you Lilith, Holga is a toy camera that has attracted a serious following in art photography, due to the randomness of it’s capture.
Thanks for that wonderful comment
