The turning of the Moon's reach

Gateshead, United Kingdom

Artist's Description

At the edge of land we rested,
kissed by returning waters,
embraced by salted tears of the Moon,
hide and seek on the dance,
of Moon and Earth.

The returning tide swells into the estuary of the River Tyne at Tynemouth, Tyne and Wear, England, on a cold, windy winter’s day.

Captured using an old Miranda lens on a digital camera.

Converted into black and white and best viewed large.

Shot on an Olympus E30.
