Swirling flakes dance around my nakedness,
winter’s mad bridal dance clothes me,
the veil of modesty testing the strength of my limbs,
while I await the storm’s groom.

A local tree on the outskirts of York, North Yorkshire, England revealed as the storm storm eased for a few moments.

Shot on a very cold Olympus E30.

Converted into black and white and best viewed large.

    great capture Richard.
I might have got rid of the other tree…….

  • The farmer was on the other side of the field and he might have spotted the chain saw ;) lol taken over a hedge while avoiding sinking into the spikes of the wood and a snow drift on the outer ring road so really pleased I got this at all lol Thanks Jon

the farmer would have understood had you told him it was artistically right that the tree wasnt there.

  • You seen the size of the farmer’s guns round here? ;) Hope you are enjoying the Spring weather during press shoots :)

  • LOL Jan, to be honest, it was almost a natural b/w in this weather condition. The only real difference is the soil is a reddish colour
