The strength behind the passing beauty
This wonderful reminder of a life in a season, stands like some lost temple to a half forgotten religion.
After the glory of it’s flowers, this simple and yet wonderfully complex design, stands in it’s strength against the coming winter, now a home to a hopeful spider, casting it’s nets into the sea currents of air.
Converted into a pinhole black and white
And shot on the outskirts of York

The spider web is the perfect adjunct to this leftover. I suppose it’s folly to think that the spider somehow identifies with the bits of faded flower, but I admit to being foolish. And I do love spiders.
clickinhistory replied
well guess the spiders feels a tad undressed and exposed now the flowers have gone lol ;)
