An angels wish
This is a shot using the Angel of the North in Gateshead as a backdrop.
The rainclouds can be seen in the sky and the wind was blowing strong, hence the blurring caused by the grasses and yet this single seed was about to take to the air on a journey of discovery, well unless it landed in some garden somewhere lol.
Image converted into a Holga/film effect

I thought it was a real person, in the background… but is it a statue? Works brilliant anyhow! Gives me a feeling of things fading and vanishing…

this is a most unique and brilliant interpretation of this often photographed Angel. nice work holding the rim of the DL against the sky. of course the single seed detaching is a magic moment. well done.
clickinhistory replied
Thanks JK, photographed it many times myself and always try to be different each time and I must admit the seed was a bonus to make up for the weather

Just had it printed up as a 20×16 matt print for friend’s recent special aged birthday seeing she used to live with the view of the Angel’s bum from her bedroom and was missing it. It is an amazing work of art to come and see. Thanks
