I’m a retired wedding, event and portrait photographer. These days I volunteer my talents with the State Military Reserves in support of the California Army National Guard. I’m a staff sergeant photo NCO in charge of the Public Affairs photo section. I stll do paying jobs, but don’t solicit work anymore. My clients nowadays are the best kind, referrals. For pleasure I photograph nature, landscapes, cityscapes, and architecture. Just about anything of interest that does not shoot, spit, or snarl at me. I’m trying to sell my art photos on RB to help pay for a trip back to Vietnam to document Christian charity work being done by a war buddy.
My primary camera is a Nikon D300 w 18-200 4.5-5.6 & 28-70mm 2.8 for portraits. My first DSLR a Fuji S2 Pro serves as back up. My film cameras consist of Hasslelblad and Cannon, rarely used now yet not willing to get rid of them. My darkroom is a Mac notebook that goes with me everywhere.
For all the military themed art that sells off my site, I will donate 100% of my share to the Wounded Warriors Project.
