Artist's Description

Electric Supply Company Tram No. 22 arrived at the Ballarat Tramway Museum in May 2009.

No. 22 was in service from 1913 – 1935, before being scraped. For the next 74 years it was mainly a home workshop on a property a mile or so from the Sebastopol terminus.

The “Sebastopol” type cross bench car was one of 3 constructed & becomes one of the last required to complete a representative collection of tramcars from 1887 – 1851.

It will now be restored to it’s former glory!
