Home at Last.......Could use some happy thoughts =} by CLICK58
Those of you who know me may know about my Handsome Harry. I adopted him about 6 years ago knowing that he had both feline aids and leukemia and did not want him to live out his life in a cage.
I didn’t expect him to be around this long but I guess he’s a tough little guy and he gets PLENTY of love.
Right now though he is having a pretty hard time. I took him to the vets last Sunday and he had a urinary blockage which they cleared up…..I then had to transport him to another hospital to stay because he could not pee on his own and had to be ‘squeezed" throughout the night. (ouch!!!)
His kidney levels were dangerously high for a couple of days and he had fluid around his heart so it was hard for the vets to force fluids on him… a damned if you do and damned if you don’t situation.
Anyway…I was allowed to bring him home after 3 nights in the hospital.
He’s still not right and I had to take him in to be ‘squeezed’ again yesterday…….he was soooo good and my heart goes out to him.
Anyway….he’s still having trouble and he’s not eating or drinking as he should be so I’m asking you my friends to send some love and light our way.
I’m emotionally drained and it’s a struggle to remain positive every day. It’s been a roller coaster ride….and I hate roller coasters…lol!!!
There may be some of you out there who don’t ‘get’ how we can get so wrapped up in our pets….but Harry has been a comfort for me through thick and thin…he is my responsibility and I just ADORE him

All good cats go to heaven Harry i have some really great friends there if its your time little buddy, you will have some catnipping, catnapping! good times with some great pals and a fine reward for the unconditional love you have given =D

Oh now you’ve gone and brought a tear to my eye…;} Harry had to have another operation and is still having a tough go at it. He is starting to eat tho….he’s quite a fighter my little guy is!
