Im Alive

I always wanted to
never did
I was scared
I was too timid tooo shy to held back in my own mind
felt cursed trapped in my own box
of my design
i was the weakest link
the nerd
the uncool guy
to true to insecurity to fly
I could never take this weight off
it felt as if to be free i would have to die
so i still reached for greatness
I would try
Because i have my fathers strentgh
and I have my mothers eyes
and I have nothing to be afraid of
I sweep through the earth like the tide
moving in closer each time
I feel my goal is nearer
I feel that Ive arrived
I feel wings
I feel like im flying
I feel free and im not dying
Im alive
For the time people Im alive
Im alive
