In a daze
lost for worlds
found amazed
unabashed
a new plan unhatched
a new light unleashed
a new body unrelaxed
tensing up from pressure
would melt if it were wax
heart broken
scattered
Wasted and splattered
mop it up then
wipe away the heart
erase the emotions
make it cold as the dark
make it cold as the pillow
I mean the part you dont touch
to emotionessly rise
like sun does at dusk
rise above those petty lies
rise above us
High above power lines
To fly is a must
boldly into the sun
call me Icarus
I dont have you to hold me back
remember there is no more us

I wish I had read this when my ex-husband and called me and told me that he will be here for me since my husband just died. Ha, I would of read this to him.

I like your liberation Roscoe. The power in this one is more fiery than the power before this. I like it.
