I am not the face of God
I am the face of flaw
The face of imperfection
See the creases in my brow
See the bags underneath my eyes
God wouldnt have bags would he?
Or would god even have a face?
Or if god does have a face perhaps his face is different from what we call a face…
His ways are higher, correct?
What if his face was his heart?
God is love, correct?
What am I?
Am I love?
No, I am blood and bones and nerves
Figuratively? literally?
Who am I?
This stupid mirror couldnt answer me nor the image which I see within
I cannot see my face
My heart still lies hidden
My face

Whoever or whatever God is to you, I don’t think he would see you as a flaw. I think He’d see you as his creation. And perfect. Our weakness our imperfections are what makes us who we are. :] I think, when you find yourself, you’ll realize you’re exactly as you should be

I adore this! Such deep words flow from your pen! What are we all? Are we what we shiould be? Are we what we would have our children be? If not, then why do we continue in our present state? Are we hypocrits? This journal states the ever asked question, what are we?
