Dragon Holding Heart

Dragon Holding Heart

We all have defense mechanisms in effect to keep us from getting hurt. Thats what the dragon represents. However you notice hes starting to tear the heart apart. Thats because defense mechanisms are double edged sword. Sometimes we hurt ourselves trying to protect ourselves.

I love this! I always represent this defense as a wall, but, i completely adore this concept! This is so true a statement that you left too! If we hinder others, we also hinder ourselves! i love this piece! the art is exceptional!

It is perfect… the image and the words reflect the mutual meaning.
It is remarkable that you have placed the dragon as an self-defense object..
    In one way it is..
It is protecting the “cave”.. where we have our “anima” all fettered.. it is a male strength… avoiding.. may be that our “shadow.. the dark part of our being.. emerges.. and in this way.. yes.. it protects…. but itself is absolutely necessary… for even he hurts us…. we learn to be prepared bor bliss and for suffering..
    The image is really impressive.
    I love it.!
