Sacred Bald Eagle by ClaudiaTuli
Clear

Acrylic on canvas painting 16" x12"

2 Weeks ago I saw for the first time in my life a bald eagle (Haliaeetus leucocephalus) flying very low over the trees. I was so impressed by this majestic eagle that I had to paint it.

The Eagle is also the symbol of freedom to Americans, and a messenger from the creator for Native Americans. Eagles are a symbol of the great spirit, strength, vision, spiritual power and illumination, their energy is healing and aids in creation.

The bald eagle (Haliaeetus leucocephalus), is the national bird of the United States of America. The Bald eagles live along the coast and on major lakes and rivers where they feed mainly on fish. The plumage of the adult bald eagle is brown with a white head and tail. The beak and feed are bright yellow.
