USS Arizona was sunk at Pearl Harbor, Hawai’i on December 7, 1941 drawing America into the war in the Pacific during World War Two. Taken with a Canon 30D, EF 18-55 lens, Cokin ND4 and eight point star filters.
sick shot! what time of the day was this taken? i’m guessing early morning, the water is so calm.
This was taken from Pier Foxtrot Five at about 0520. I was able to take advantage of the location because of my work at Battleship Missouri. Alas, I no longer work there. This was the glassiest I have seen Pearl Harbor in my twenty years of working there. Thanks for the compliment!
It is one of your absolute best and also one of my favourites. It is stunning in it’s beauty Clark. Brilliant camera work my sweet friend!! And it looks awesome matted and framed! I wish you great success with this magnificent image!!!
Aloha my friend. It is very windy here on Maui and the rain is blowing laterally. I can only imagine how the weather is on O’ahu. How are you? Jacob says Aloha Brah! You really should return to Maui and visit us! I am surprised you have not added this to our group! Is there a reason?
There it is! Mahalo nui!
Ho’omaika’i ‘Ana, congratulations Clark on your wonderful feature in Hawai’i ~ Aloha Na’au with this very beautiful image!
Great reflections – congrats !
Another beautiful reflection shot, well done! Take Care :-)
Absolutely stunning. You must have taken this from Pearl City. xo
This was taken very early in the morning from Pier Foxtrot Five which berths the Battleship Missouri… it was one of the perks from working there I suppose.
