Clark Thompson is a self taught photographer specializing in fine art landscape prints. Clark was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado three minutes after his identical twin brother, Mark, and first moved to Kane’ohe, Hawai’i in 1958 prior to the Hawai’ian Territory obtaining statehood. As a Marine Corps dependent, he also grew up in Southern California and graduated from high school in Eastland, Texas. Following graduation, Clark enlisted in the United States Navy which eventually brought him back to Hawai’i. He is a seasoned traveler having visited areas throughout North America, the Pacific Region, Asia and the Middle East. A thirty year kama’aina, Clark has a profound love for the Islands and Hawai’ian culture. He strives to convey these concepts through his photography. He has been married to his wonderful wife, Janet, for over thirty four years. Clark and Jan have one son, Dylan, who is married to the former Richlin Fernandez of Makakilo. They have three delightful grandchildren, Kaleb Kalehuawehe, Gabriel Ho’o ulu pono and Mahealani Anuhea.
