Oklahoma, my favourite rose! I had been going to pick this rose and another one to take some photos but they bloomed fully before I could pick them. That same afternoon, 31.01.2013, we had a very heavy rainstorm, with a little thunder, and when I looked out the door, I saw the roses bent over under the sustained pressure of the rain.
Even though it was still raining and the light was poor, I decided to see what sort of shots I could take – I’m not very good at shooting this rose but this shot is fairly accurate as far as the colour goes!
Many thanks for looking, all comments are appreciated.
