I’m sure many of you have seen this rose before, it’s one of my favourite roses and picture of that rose!
I used a suggestion from another Bubbler on how to get Photomatix to make an HDR from a single RAW image.
I ran the resulting three images through Photomatix, using the Details Enhancer method, and then opened the .TIF file in Photoshop and tweaked it’s Curves and Brightness.
While it now has a blue base instead of a black one, I really like the richness which the HDR processing has given it. I hope you do, too.
Many thanks for looking – all comments are much appreciated.
The original photo was shot with a Pentax K100D, and a Sigma 28 – 80 mm lens. I forget the settings, unfortunately.
