I wasn’t really happy with the light in last night’s pic, so I re-shot it this morning, experimenting with the available light
I fiddled with the Vibrance slider in the RAW box and came up with this one. While the apricot is now a rich yellow, I am much happier with the final result. I hope you find a moment’s beauty in it.
The name of this beauty is Copper Gem – it has a delightful perfume.

The light from behind the flower is so soft and serves to accentuate the deep colour of the rose – the bottom of the vase also now picks up more reflection and is more defined… a beautiful shot, Jan:) xoxox
