On with the show . . .
These two photos are identical in all respects except one. Would anyone like to take a guess at what that difference is? It’s a surprisingly simple one!
This time, the candle is sitting behind the vase . . . and, no, that’s not the difference I want you to guess at! The pic on the right is the “different” one.
For those who are interested, these are the technical details of both pics:
Tripod-mounted Pentax K100D, Sigma 28 – 80 mm lens, set on Manual mode;
6.0 second exposure;
400 ISO; and
53.0 mm focal length.
I closed all the curtains in the room (a very large one) and made do with what managed to sneak in. I’ve straightened and cropped both pics, added them to a new document, added a border using colour from the flame, and then used Photoshop’s Brightness/Contrast menu to lighten it just a little. I think that’s all!
