I’m a hobby photographer. My primary interests are low light and still life photography and I often combine the two. I like to experiment with photomanipulation using Photoshop and textures.
Roses are my passion! I love roses and try to use them in my images as often as possible. I have approximately 20 named bushes, and about 15 or so unnamed bushes. I enjoy photographing my cats, Misty and Streak.
I use a Pentax K100D, and have 4 Sigma lenses. My most commonly used one is a 28 – 80 mm zoom with a macro switch on it. I have a 70 – 300 mm zoom also with a macro switch. The kit lenses are 18 – 50 mm and 100 – 300 mm. I use a tripod for almost every shot as I can’t hold the camera still. I occasionally use a Kodak DX6490 P&S, too.
