Actually not an albino as it has black eyes – instead is called Leucism. I have been watching this guy for at least five years now – it lives in a desert canyon on Jabel Hafit near the city of Al Ain in the United Arab Emirates. It is not shy with humans and very aggressive toward other desert larks which are a drab brown color same as the rocks. Am amazed that it has survived this long as it really stands out in the bleak environment and makes a seemingly easy target for predators. It has become a bit famous with visiting birders hoping to catch sight of it. I am always happy to see it when hiking the canyon and to know that it continues to beat the odds. (I am adding this as I just found out there is a group for such white animals)
