This is great David. Nice composition using that line in the sand AND a couple others to draw attention right into the photo. I also like the use/capture of the shadowy sides of the hills. Very nice work!!
I AM COMPLETELY JEALOUS!! I WANT TO SEE THIS IN PERSON!!!!!!
thanks Lina — you are most welcome to it — it is nice during the late afternoon in the cool months — otherwise you are just looking for shade and water — dave

Wow David, this desert series is fantastic. I really like this work. Well done.
thank you Simon – really very nice of you to comment — I am trying to get shots that dont mimic the others to try to keep the series from getting boring — dave
Excellent composition my friend! Oh Dave, I cannot take such a gorgeous images here in Hungary!
thanks Bela - I would trade a day walking around old castle grounds anytime - at least my eyes and hair and pockets and shoes wouldm’t be full of sand — thanks again friend – dave
Love this dune scene. Great composition light, color and perspective. My only suggestion is to crop the sky in half from above and selectively adjust the levels on it, to create a darker, bluer sky. (as is the sky is overexposed in compared to the dune.) this is an ideal situation for using an ND grad filter to compensate for the sky exposure.. Thanks for sharing with the Art of the Middle East group.
Hello Eyal – thanks for the comments — I did play with the sky a little – I will see if I can adjust the color a little more — this shot was into the direction of the sun and in order to get the dunes correct I had to underexpose the sky a bit — thanks very much – I really appreciate your artistic comments and thanks for putting into the group – dave
Ah yes, I love these sort of photos; and this, my fine young Dave, is an exceptionally good one!
hello Arletta – oh that I were a young and fine Dave — such as your Mr. Dobbins — thanks very much i have fun with these sand photos - but never seem to get them as I see them – dave
