Wadi Mud
Patterns of mud after a rare intense desert rainstorm - formed in a normally dry stream bed (wadi) and photographed in early morning light - after only a few hours of desert heat it was back to dust.

Chocolate should always be the consensus! “Should we have war?” people would ask and the consensus would be “No. Let’s have chocolate.” hmmm .. Can you imagine the look of surprise on the “enemy” faces when a shout of “We declare chocolate with you!” was rung out across the field of battle?

- it was fun to shoot this -I was early morning bird watching and hiking- and I walked past this noticing nothing -when I turned into the sun – the whole place shone like wet chocolate—and within hours it was all gone back to dry mud – daveLois Bryan

You know – I actually am not a big fan of chocolate – I will eat it of course – but not go out of my way
- that being said -I have made or help make many “batches” of fudge- esp around the Holidays -my mom and great aunt were the masters of the craft – and yep I cook all the time—thanks – davePrasad

- ok lets see take one big bowl of dirt and sand – add about 3 inches of rain -shake violently for 30 minutes and pour into a rock lined mould. – probably need some sugar and chocolate in there somewhere I guess—dave – thanks for checking out my site -Van Cordle

Great color, texture and composition. Consider a slight selective darkening of the highlights. I find that my attention goes straight to them, and only after I observe the image and its beauty. again, it might be just my subjective opinion. :-) Thanks for sharing with the Art of the Middle East group.

Molten dark chocolate, lots of liquid lucious lovely chocolate. Mmmmmmm….... it looks ‘Ono!! :) The mud is fabulous David, I love this image!! It is one of my favourites and a gorgeous shot! I love how you set up the diagonal perspective as it flows through the frame. It is beautiful!
