Mother and Child Spoonbill
An adult and young spoonbill resting during migration in a small desert lake in the UAE. The young one has the black wingtips and the orange spoonbill. This pair (out of 8) seemed inseperable and had an obvious bond between them.

Love the angle of this shot. The details are so crisp and so are the colors. I also like the play of light and shadows on the underside of these spoonbills. Stunning!
