    You cause me here to wonder… in both of that word’s meanings. I’ve often thought that purpose of photographic art is to cause us to pierce the plane into a space of imagination and feeling. And here your composition seems to actually do the piercing. Like all of your work, this is so clean, no technical debris to distract me from… from… well, wondering!

    Hi dave - thanks very much for the comment – the man is actually a friend of mine and we were there together - I just sort of made an excuse to hang back and let him walk ahead - otherwise he would have posed looking at me – he likes the photo but would have much prefered his face in it. maybe next time - thanks again – dave
