Well while Mum was at work today I decided to go for a bit of a wander with the camera and where do I end up? The gaol of course!!! This is the ‘B Wing’ in the ‘New Building’ of the Old Adelaide Gaol. When I say new, it was new at the time but the whole gaol has been out of service since 1988.

Danny I used to take my Legal Studies students on an excursion to this place – we used to get some great old guides who would have the kids hanging off every word with the stories of what went on!! Some of them refused to stand on the trap door of the hanging tower. I found the saddest thing was the unmarked graves.
I like the shine off the walls and the way you have caught that ceiling grid. Well done.
Thankyou for the great comment chijude. Unfortunately I didn’t do a tour but it is certainly an eerie place. I admit, I am one who won’t stand on the trap door. Glad you like it.
