Another shot I have just got to process that I took when I went into the Adelaide City a couple of weeks ago. It has been my first real attempt and am not totally sure with what I have achieved but will post them anyway.
PLEASE CRITIQUE
This is a Vine covered walkway in the Adelaide Botanic Gardens near the cafe in the North East corner.
I would really appreciate your comments on this as I am new to HDR but find it very intriguing and beautiful when done well.
DETAILS
Cannon 500D (RAW) Aperture Priority Exposure Program 18 – 55mm IS Kit Lens (39m) -2,0 and +2 f 25 ISO 100
Merged exposures in Photomatix Pro using Detail Enhancer option. Edited in Lightroom and Photoshop plus used Noiesware Professional Plugin from Photoshop to reduce noise
Any comments, advice or criticism would be greatly appreciated
Very nice with good contrasts and detail. Snug Harbor on Staten Island in New York has an economy sized variation, too small and narrow for benches, but having shot there I can appreciate what you’ve achieved here.
Thanks alot Micpowell. Much appreciate your comments. Is your Snug Harbour shots on RB? Cheers, Danny
No I never did upload that picture, the leafage was much thicker and the vines were few so the trees and branches themselves just went black despite the path being well exposed. Darker and more contrasty it’s nowhere near as romantic.
Okay, yeah images like this are really suited to HDR. You just can’t capture the detail otherwise. Cheers again for your comments.
