The beautiful bark of the increasingly rare Red River Gum has always compelled me. You can disappear into the imaginary landscapes of the bark on an visual magic carpet ride, become bewitched by the stories that seem to be contained within the patterns, which invariably seem to represent the Australian landscape – in this instance perhaps the desert and salt lakes one might see if flying over the interior.
CONGRATULATIONS Clare, your gorgeous photo has been featured in Abstract Nature’s Macro Art Group . My imagination might be doing overtime here – but it looks to me like a person walking away from love… It tugs at the heartstrings, somehow!
thank you so much for the above comments, I haven’t been on site for a while, so this was a nice surprise..I must get back to RB-ing a bit more xx
Beautiful heart and some kind of animal running on the right side. Please share with Accidental Images Group Clare! Just the kind of hidden pictures we are all about! Cheers! Susana
