Milonga
This depicts a typical “milonga” scene, thought there are usually lots of couple on the floor. In this case this pair are demonstrating their style of tango.
There is always an intense, sensuous atmosphere in these dance venues when t”angueros” gather to socialise and lose themselves in the dance. The combingation of the culture, music and sensuality is a mysterious, magically charged blend.
I have played with this a little in Photoshop, something I’m still quite tentative about, given that I don’t know many of the finer points and techniques of using the programme! Comments are welcome

This is fantastic Clare. I love the way the shot echo’s in the background. And the mad over saturated colours work reallly well in this context. wonderful joyous peice of work. well done.

Thanks Julie. the colours of the lighting in the hall gave the original print a wild hue anyway, so I’ve laid it on a bit more! Don’t really know what I’m doing in Photoshop but played around until I got something that seemed to add to the surreal feel!
thanks for your comment !

this is an amazing shot bec the picture behind them is exactly in their position. this is a common photography style of a very famous french photographer who used to capture people in moments that were reflected in their background….wow…masterpiece.
