Metamorphosis....The Butterfly Effect

Well done to ‘NativeCharm’ who added her ideas which helped to complete this poem….and thank you to all the other amazing artists and writers whojoined in and had a go.
Here is the completed Poem

Sometimes when it’s raining
On the pane that is my heart
And in that anguished straining
Feels my world is all apart

Somewhere, somewhen I realise
This liquid moisture gold
Has washed me into springtime
And cleansed away the cold

Of my deepest darkest winter
That terrified my mind
Causing icicles to splinter
The fear; so sublime

To the new life that starts growing
And the grub in silence sings
Those tears are drops of magic
To give the butterfly its wings

Which Open up to freedom:
The ultimate embrace
In a sky which held no color
Now glitters every space

And those tears so filled with wisdom
They ripple and they swirl
Across the pond that is creation:
See the butterflies unfurl.
