When my husband retired and we started traveling. This gave me the motive to want to paint again after over 30 years of not picking up the paint brush. A friend of mine saw some of my early works and encouraged me to start again, this time to try watercolor. I fell in love with this medium and am enjoying learning the many techniques and the use of brilliant colors. I enjoy painting animals and am trying to capture the spirit of the animal in the painting.
