This is possibly the best (and cheapest = $3) toy I have bought for Fritz. We’ve never played “fetch” before, but he picked the principle up really quickly – nevertheless at times he does not want to give it back to me and becomes rather over zealous with the “squeakage”, and thus prefers to reserve it for himself. This was taken at the point in the evening when he said “I give up…for awhile”. Taken on my Nikon d3100.
Ah, posing for posterity with his ball – very handsome Fritz!
Thanks G!! I think this is one of my favourites of him that I have taken – plus you can’t see his ‘old man’ grey chin hair in this photo ;) I can’t believe he is almost 6. The vet weighed him yesterday and said he was in good shape for a dog of his size, so that was reassuring.
This is precious, we use to have a dachshund and he was so protective of all he got his mouth around. He even use to protect a carton of eggs from the store! Crazy dog!!!
Haha, that’s so funny vigor. Yes, as a breed, they are quite protective of their ‘things’, especially when food is involved ;) However, they are also a very loyal and loving dog. Thanks for your comment. :)
What an amazingly cute dog Claire. Such a wonderful composition, focus is great and your framing is wonderful. susan
Thank you so much vette!! Very kind of you to say. Fritz and I just happened to be sitting on the floor together and playing that night…and I clicked at the right moment :)
