Located in the English county of Wiltshire, Stonehenge is one of the most famous prehistoric sites in the world. Designated a UNESCO world heritage site in 1986, it is characterised by large standing stones believed to date as far back as 2200 BC.

    I like how the angle really shows the scale of the stones compared to the onlookers.

    I just did a search for Stonehenge on here and this easily has to be the best shot of it up there! The way you have framed this is just brilliant, the tight crop on the ground is perfect, giving a great emphasis to the sky and showing the stones as they are in nature. The lines are brilliant and I dont just mean the line of people! But dont they look great!
    Your B+W work and processing is spot on… I’ve seen references to Ansel Adams before in other pieces of your work, and this for me has it too… its as if the clouds behind have a grandeur all of their own!
    Brilliant work, a definate favourite and cant believe I hadnt commented on this already!

    Great b/w. Love the composition of the shot, with the people at the edge, they look like ants compared to the structure! Well Done!

    this is a neat image, but what really stands out to me is that your sky is really spectacular here. excellent tonality.
