What a great project. The outcome is fantastic and the experience of doing such a thing is mazing. I think I’ll follow your foot steps and try such a project. The result here is a splendid tapestry of people, experiences, joy lughter and I’m sure some dissapointments that only made your commitment to it stronger. I applaud you.

Fantastic

Wow! What a fantastic response!!!! It’s my birthday today so with this piece making it onto the HP (my second this week!!!) i am completely blown away! So many thank you’s to EVERYONE who has commented/favourited. People have thought i was crazy throughout the year and literally laughed in my face but judging by this response; it was worth it!
To Craig smith and Bridget; i can indeed remember what i was doing on each of the 365 days.
This is the “final cut” of each day, all titled with something to remind me of the day in question. There is also a “group shots” compilation for each day comprised of numerous unused shots and a “rejects” folder of every shot taken.
To Eyal; i would love ANYONE to take on this challenge and do their own piece. Damian was the first to take me up on the offer and is doing well so far; his end date is september 8th 2008 so we’ll see.

This is wonderful Claire, I was hoping you’d do something like this with your whole year! I’ve got a way to go yet lol, but it’s a fun challenge!

Very interesting idea, Claire; I think I shall start tonight, if not sooner. I met an artist who is also doing a year-long project – 365 happy days He exhibited the first 140-odd locally a few months ago, and I reckon it’s a brave and fascinating venture. I’d say he’ll be only too pleased to finish it! Was it difficult stopping after your 365th?

What I like about your project is that they are all portraits. I tried to start one last year of taking a picture a day, no restrictions, but an idea of a face a day touches me. Inspiration. Thank you.
