This was taken in Ludington, Michigan along the beach of Lake Michigan, capturing the beauty of the sunset behind the lighthouse and the calmness of the waves. With the lone fisherman out on the lake it really brings a good familiar feeling to the overall image.
I think this works so well because you decided to put the horizon in the center which makes the scene so expansive—like the lake itself. It`s all about the mood, and you nailed it with this. Nice work.
