Two men were fishing in the small boat….. I could hear them talking long before I could see them through the golden morning fog.

Actually it is not a bog. We had flooding on Bull Shoals Lake for over six months. This is normally a low water bridge on a tributary of the lake, called Gulley Creek. It was impassible for over six months, so people started fishing there!
