A peek at our little restored 1890 log cabin. Alma Ellison and her 10 brothers and sisters were raised in this one room cabin. Their Daddy died when Alma was a tiny girl, and her Mother raised the children on her own. Alma told us that on a hot day, they would race to the spring to see who got the first sip of ice cold buttermillk…. in a time so long ago. Times were hard but they were happy.
