I had a note today from the Amateur’s Photography Group that they wouldn’t accept a submission to the group of a shot I added to my portfolio today, because it was too “similar” to other photos in my group…. hmmmm…….interesting.
It kinda rubbed me the wrong way, so I left the group. Nitpickers. Life is too short.

Too similar to other shots of yours, or other shots from the other members? I could maybe see if you had a bunch that were very similar to each other, but not if they’re simply similar to other people’s shots. Anyway, there are plenty of groups out there to choose from. Like ya said, life is too short.

but surely, lots of pics are going to be similar? but they all have attributes of their own. You should have queried it!!!!
