It’s a tee. It’s a dress. It’s the new Graphic T-shirt Dress.

The Open Road and I

It stretches out before me,
And beckons me to follow
Its route toward the horizon,
And ignore my background sorrows.
Armed with coffee and my camera,
I face the dawn anew,
Anxious to explore
Wherever it takes me to.

And as we travel on together,
The open road and I,
We find solace and contentment,
Without having to ask why.
So we reveal our secrets to each other,
One mile at a time,
Around each shaded bend,
And up each hill we climb.

And so to us I raise my mug –
To the open road and I –
Two unlikely companions
In pursuit of the horizon line.

Artist's Description

I love road trips, and I have one in the works for a few weeks from now. In anticipation of that, I found these lines rattling around in my head the other night, so I figured I would put them to use. Enjoy!
