I’m a big fan of wrecks, they are a symbol of life completed and a reminder of what is to become for us all.

This Holden Commodore was the same make and colour as my first car at 16, it was sitting on the edge of town at Maree, South Australia.

While I was photographing it a local guy comes up and asks why I’m taking a picture. I explained and he went on to tell me about his late grandfather who happened to own the car….
