Sometimes you follow your intuition and art work comes together easily. This is the first of a series that discusses power and communication and how it is bound to the earth vs. prayer and the power of God that is not tied to the earth. This series also allows me to explore these power lines that are rapidly becoming a thing of the past. I used acrylic, painted on reclaimed panel.
Breathtakingly beautiful ! Personally, I love the atmosphere of the color and space it has that lonely disposition of the isolated birds, over all great composition ! :)
i don’t what it is about these telephone poles and power lines, but i am so attracted to them…. i have a few in my gallery also …. and the birds sitting on them…. this painting is beautiful…. love the warm tone…. and i also love what you’ve written in the description…. : )
I know what you mean, I am always watching the power lines and birds as I travel, thank you – it’s good to see others think alike.

Great composition and I love the limited color palette. It’s striking. :))
Thank you – use of – or limit of color is important to me – love Mark Rothko too.
