A man made lake located at the base of the Grampians National Parks, some 40kms from my home town, is this stunning hidden treasure of wildlife, fish and beautiful landscape views. The stunning sunsets and sunrises over the tree filled lake are a photographer’s delight and karma for those wanting peace and tranquility.

Accommodation ranges from a delightful caravan park to B & B homes dotted around the shores of the lake. A must see destination between Melbourne and Adelaide.

Hi, my name is Chris. I reside in Horsham, the capital of the whealt belt area in Victoria, Australia. I enjoy capturing the beauty of my beloved country and touring Australia in my Caravan. The majority of my photographs are landscape images of my travels.

I hope you enjoy my travels too and I thankyou for taking your time to look at my work!

Warm Regards

Chris (cjcphotography)

Oh, my, Chris! This is a stunning capture! It may be my favorite of your works! The serenity of the scene is perfect!

  • Hi Barb. I quite like it too & it was taken with a Japanese Canon Digital Camera, which is not available outside Japan! I am still trying to understand its full features, can’t get a English manual…………..LOL.

  • Hi Bev, lovely to hear from you:) Easy to find, follow Hall’s Gap road from Stawell for just under 10 kms, sign on left (small) showing Lake Fyans :) I should be caravaning in Hall’s Gap on that date, might catch up! Catch me on Facebook anytime, https://www.facebook.com/chalkie57#!/chalkie57
