I am a semi – retired Insurance Loss Adjustor. I first used a Nikon SLR camera in the mid 80s when taking photographs of fire, storm, water damage & liability claims etc. All my photographs had to be precise with accurate detail as many of them were produced as evidence in legal proceedings. My Employer at that time suggested I undertake a photography course due to the importance of my images ( a basic course).
I reside in a Victorian country town called, Horsham, Australia; which is the centre of our State’s wheat belt area. Horsham is located some 300ks West of our Capital, Melbourne.
Although I am semi retired from the work force at the age of 52, I have grown a sincere passion for photography over several years. I consider myself an amatuer photographer. I travel in my caravan extensively touring Australia for several months at a time. I enjoy taking landscape photos of my beautiful country, meeting friendly people in my travels and on the internet. Hope you enjoy my travels too!…. Chris.
